Cornish Gallery
The Cornish Gallery reflects the ethos of both Len who runs Kowethas Ertach Kernow (Association for Cornish Heritage) and Newquay Museum. There is a warm, welcoming and friendly atmosphere with an environmentally positive approach. We support the bilingual nature of Cornwall which can be heard in Kernewek, the Cornish language, at many events. Also supporting interest in the other Celtic nations and their languages and cultural heritage.
Come and visit the Cornish Gallery and enjoy a break amongst Cornish art and objects. Kowethas Ertach Kernow is a partner in the Newquay Museum and there is also lots to see in the other museum rooms. as well as Towan Vintage which sells vintage items and helps support these museum rooms.
There will continue to be organised music and language events at the Cornish Gallery, which is the heart of Newquay Museum including many Cornish heritage events, illustrated talks and music organised by Kowethas Ertach Kernow. Smaller groups are welcome to use the Cornish Gallery for meetings and events.
Cornish Gallery - Events
Here at the Cornish Coffee Lounge we hold a variety of events often involving our partners who engage at the Newquay Museum's, Cornish Cultural Hub Tewynblustri. From book signings to exhibitions to musical events there is always a buzz of activity.
Music events, illustrated talks and workshops are held in the friendly intimate atmosphere created as part of the Newquay Museum which has an added vibe that is the Cornish Coffee Lounge.
